Week 16/17 update

Last Monday I broke out into a rash from head to toe. Benedryl didn’t cut it so the dr put me on steroids. Not sure if it’s a reaction to the amoxil I had just finished or the immunotherapy. The steroids helped settled everything down.

I met with my oncologist of Friday and discussed continuing chemo or not. She obviously wants me to continue. She acknowledged that’s it a hard drug and I had a rough few weeks and said she would reduce the chemo this week by 7% to make it more manageable for me to handle.

I came home and discussed it with my mom and Dave. I decided do try one more with my mom here to help and the other side effects managed now (I had horrible acid reflux making eating and drinking hard after the last dose.).

So today I went in for my 14th infusion. 2 more chemo and 8 more immunotherapy to go.
