Week 14 update.
Well today was my first AC treatment along with immunotherapy. A new cocktail for premeds along with the pre meds I need for the immunotherapy and I was feeling loopy.
Had a nap in the chair thank to benedryl. The red solution drug has to be pushed in by syringe by the nurse slowly, so we chatted for a bit. I had an amazing nurse today . I can home to sleep off more and woke up feeling really nauseous. I have a premed that suppresses the nausea for a few days and I still took an ‘as needed’ anti nausea med. Apparently this is a big side effect of the newly renamed “red warrior.” When I saw the red for the first time I shared the rename with her and she loved it… she is going to call it that from now on too. I’m really glad they tell you that your urine will be red because of it or I might have freaked out
They also changed my injections to a longer term “Lapelga” to help stimulate bone marrow in making more white blood cells. I take that tomorrow.
Feeling grateful I move to every three weeks. I will still do weekly acupuncture to help relive the heat in my body, help with nausea and sleep.
One day at a time (might turn into a couple hours at a time). Xo
