Week 12 update.

I arrived for my last taxol/carbo infusion and they sent me home because my neutrophils, platelets and hemoglobin are all too low. So a week off of chemo to let my body rest and recoup. At first I was frustrated to be delayed, but then relieved. I’m happy to have a week off and rest. I can’t believe 12 weeks have flown by, this is just one small delay.

My spirits perked up when the best friends and neighbours surprised me and walked into my backyard playing “goodbye Earl”, all wearing “Patti” shirts they had an artist sketch and then made into shirts and gave me this gorgeous scarf to keep me cool this summer. I’m so truly blessed. thank you everyone.
